Rei: My... Your acting certainly sends chills down the spine, Ayase-kun.
With your help, I think we've all managed to dive into the story's universe. You have extraordinary talent.

Ritsu: I appreciate it. But well, I'm not gonna be hung up on the past forever. On top of that, we're working together right now, so it's all water under the bridge.
More importantly, do you know what the next scene is supposed to be? It's pretty easy to get lost since dramas and movies film the scenes all out of order.
Mayoi: I believe it's where Sakuma-san — the Reaper of Judgement — speaks to the half-blood reaper about the eternal winter.
A reaper, who isn't meant to feel emotions, ends up getting attached to a human... And in doing so, he becomes unable to tell the youth that he is the very reason for the town's decade and more of winter—
The reaper even wishes for their bond to last an eternity; it's a very profound scene.
Nagisa: ... What is eternity? Does such a concept truly exist? That is the theme of this work.
... What are your thoughts on eternity, Ritsu-kun?
Ritsu: Wha, what's this all of a sudden? And why ask me, anyway?
Nagisa: ... Fufu, I'm simply curious to hear your interpretation, seeing as you're Knights' advisor. I believe your answer would most likely differ from my own.
Ritsu: Mm~mm. I'm an advisor, not a philosopher, so I can't give you any fancy answers, but...
What I think... is that nothing can be unchanging.
The more you believe in eternity, the tighter that belief will bind you and force you into massive changes. That’s my take on it.
Nagisa: ... Fufu, perhaps so.
... The further you reach for it, the further away it will be. That sounds like the fable about happiness.[2]
Rei: "It is inevitable that I judge him. I know this, and yet..."
"Why, then, is my heart in such pain...?"
Ritsu: (Anija really puts up such a fine performance that you'd never think he's new to acting. He's simply captivating.)
(But I don't know whether this is the role he wanted.)
(I thought our relationship would always stay the same, but bit by bit, is it changing too...?)
↑ Note [1]: This is a reference to a line Izumi said during the ! era story Winter Live! It's great.
↑ Note [2]: No one on our team recognises what fable this might be. It sounds similar to The Blue Bird by Maurice Maeterlinck, but I'm pretty sure the moral of that story is that "happiness is closer than you think", not this...
