Sora: "Welcome to Switch's performance! Thank you for coming to see us today!"

Sora: We're all very, very happy to meet you too ♪
Tsumugi: ...?! Did Sora-kun just use a magic spell in the same way as you, Natsume-kun?
Natsume: Yeah. It's astounding to see how far his imitation has taken him, isn't it? I doubt he makes a conscious effort to follow my example, but he is a "magician's disciple" who has watched me and received my training for all this time.
Perhaps the bigger surprise is that he hasn't used the same magic as me until now.
Tsumugi: He was probably holding back on you — you know how they say a disciple shouldn't surpass his master~ Sora-kun is kind, but he really is too restrained with the people around him, isn't he?

Natsume: Yeah, he's so sweet it's almost vexing.
By the way, it seems you haven't noticed, but Sora uses you as an example as well.
Since I tend to slack off and put on airs, I have a bad habit of using tricks to cover up the areas in which I'm lacking.
Switch's special effects have their roots in those cover-ups too.
They're the product of pushing myself, in the hopes of being even a second quicker at catching up to my nii-sans of the Five Eccentrics.
But you're different — since you were young, you diligently and steadily started learning from the basics at an idol-training school.
That's why, despite the pathetic impression you give off, your singing and dancing is extremely solid.

Tsumugi: Oh, how rare, Natsume-kun. This is you praising me, isn't it?
Natsume: You might be sturdy, but if I just keep attacking you, even you will break eventually. So I've got to be nice once in a while.

Natsume: Anyhow. Sora sees all those good points of yours and imitates you. Things like the timing of each step, the corresponding expression and angle to hold your fingers at, how to pitch yourself for each song, and how to adjust the quality of your voice for the audience before you.
Sora's perfectly replicated all that and more as if it's the most natural thing in the world, and altered them to suit him.
To sum it up in a word that's been so overused it's lost all meaning, he's a genius.
Tsumugi: This is hardly news to us, is it? Sora's always been an outstanding child.
Natsume: Yeah, and all this time, this special, radiant child hasn't been able to maximise his potential in our care.
The way the world sees it, Sora is probably just the youngest member of the strange trio we call Switch.
While that is true, there's so much more to him as well.
He's a special, brilliant child who can compare to even the glittering star-like geniuses at ES and Yumenosaki.
Yet the world doesn't give him the credit he deserves — and that's on us, as the ones who have been managing Switch until now.
Tsumugi: Yes. But starting today, things will be different. You and I have the power we've gained at ES and Yumenosaki respectively.
We'll use that as fuel to carry that child all the way to the summit of the earth, and let him shine so brightly he rivals the sun.
With the strength of the two— no, all three of us together.
Natsume: Of course. That's what this Magic Lantern Fes is for.
It's a ritual to shine a ray of light on the things that have had the misfortune of being buried, and to show that what lies there is something precious and valuable.
Tsumugi: Yes, it's the first performance Sora-kun is leading, so it goes without saying that we want it to be a great success. We want to actualise his hopes, and grant his innocent wishes for him.
I've been abusing my power pretty childishly to make all that happen, you know! Like asking Knights to help us with publicity and calling it compensation for them crashing in on Next Door!

Natsume: Honestly, shouldn't they have offered to do that by themselves? It's only logical, isn't it? Aren't Knights a little too ill-mannered just because they think they're hotshots?
Tsumugi: Well, for all the free rein we give them, they do contribute plenty to the agency, so I think it balances out.
Double Face is pretty hard to make use of, after all~ We still need Knights to work hard as our primary breadwinner.
No, actually... Making it such that all idols under our care enjoy working, and that the entire agency benefits as a result — that's what my job as the vice-president is.
We might be in the same position, but I'm not shrewd enough to boldly snatch benefits for us at the expense of others in our surroundings like Cospro's Saegusa-kun.
But I think this suits me better.
I'm having lots of fun every day, you know; it's really fulfilling.
Everyone seems so concerned, saying things like "It's tough, isn't it?", but honestly — this is what I've always wanted to do.

Tsumugi: I didn't want to trample on enemies as a hero — I just wanted to tend the fields so everyone has enough to eat every day.
Even if that can't change the world, at the very least no one would die of starvation any longer.
I've desperately preserved this life of mine, and that's all I really wanted to use it for.
