Sora: Okay~! Shisho~, Senpai, it's about time to start work, so please don't just stand there enjoying your talk~?

Natsume: Yeah, sorry about that, Sora. I was trying to get things done, but this shaggy hairball came and entangled me.

Tsumugi: Fufu, please excuse my shagginess. But you know, Sora's hair is kind of wavy too, so you're actually the odd one out in Switch with your straight hair, Natsume-kun.
You might want to be more careful with what you say — your thoughtless comments might be hurting Sora-kun.

Natsume: Wha? Is that so? Don't you worry, Sora. Your bouncy, fluffy hairstyle is as adorable as an angel!

Sora: Sora has never cared about his hair, though?
It's not that shaggy either, so Sora would say it's an in-between of Shisho~ and Senpai's hair!

Subaru: Nevermind Natsume or Blue-senpai, aren't you closest to me in terms of hairstyle?

Natsume: Don't just pop into the conversation like it's a natural thing to do, Baru-kun. You're as bad at reading the room as always.

Tsumugi: Actually, why are you here, Akehoshi-kun? Do you need something from us?

Subaru: Nope! I was just kinda curious, so I came to check things out~ We don't have many performances lately anyway, so I'm pretty free.

Natsume: I don't mean to meddle in other agencies' affairs, but is Trickstar doing alright? Doesn't it kind of feel like you guys peaked at SS last year and have been steadily declining since then?

Subaru: Is that how it looks? We're fine, though — we're just pushing forward like we always do!
Who cares about stuff like politics and war, we're winning as long as we get to shine up on stage! Ahaha ☆

Natsume: Mm, how simple. I'm honestly envious...

Subaru: Really? Y'know, I think everyone else is just overthinking something that's actually meant to be really simple?

Natsume: Fufu. Mere mortals have to put their backs into a slow ascent so they can arrive at the places that geniuses reach in a single leap.
But of course, it means that they have more time to enjoy the view, and if they drop anything along the way, they'll notice and can return to retrieve it much faster.
There are two different methods, but it's not like either one is "right".
That's just the kind of unit our Switch is.

Tsumugi: Yes, but this time, we have no choice but to take the so-called genius route.

Subaru: ? Whaddya mean?

Tsumugi: This time, or rather from here on out, we're going to have Sora-kun take over the management of Switch. He's always the first to arrive at the truth of matters, after all.
Natsume-kun will remain as our leader, but Sora-kun will decide the kind of activities our unit engages in from now on.

Sora: Yep! Sora gathered all his courage and said he wants to do that!
Because Sora didn't think anything would change if he just stayed silent and watched like always.
When he thought about it, he realised Shisho~ and Senpai were both busy with all the other "things they had to do" in school and at ES.
But Sora only has some individual work every now and then, so he has lots of free time~?
If the person with free time does some work, everyone else will be able to breathe a little easier! That's a basic rule of modern society~ ♪
Sora's always been idling and just clinging to Shisho~ and Senpai to survive.
That was easier for Sora, and he thought he wouldn't cause problems for anyone.
But all Sora was doing was leaving the "things he had to do" to Shisho~ and Senpai.
And of course, since they were already so busy, they ended up running out of stamina and becoming unable to handle everything.
That's why it is Sora's fault. There were things he could have done, but he didn't — he just sat quietly and watched.
Even though Sora's no longer an outsider that drifts around in the gaps between people without interacting with anyone—
Even though Shisho~ and Senpai found Sora and picked him up, and they accepted and loved him.
Even though we became comrades who wear the same outfits, shout with the same voice, and live our lives together.
Sora was simply being protected, and wasn't contributing to the group 'Switch' at all.
He was affirmed that it's okay for him to just be lively and energetic, was praised for being cute, and was loved...
But lots of things were used in order to keep Sora, who wasn't doing anything, alive.
If Sora was really a baby that needs protection, that would make sense — it would be alright.

Sora: But even if Sora is still a child who can't drink alcohol yet, he is also a professional idol. So Sora has to do his best to stand tall and pose as an adult, and properly complete his work.
Just like what Shisho~ and Senpai are doing.
No, not just that — bit by bit, Sora has to return all the love he's been given.
That's what Sora is thinking, so we've slowly started working. First, we'll fix this magic lantern that Shisho~ says resembles Sora, and have it shine brightly up on stage to say, "I'm right here!"
Because that's what Sora wants to say! To tell everyone!
Even if someone out there is just like the Sora of the past, cowering somewhere all alone, Sora wants to tell them, "You have comrades right here!"
Sora knows for sure that this world has lonely souls like that who don't interact with other people.
But since they seem to be pretty hard for most people to notice, Sora wants to illuminate them with light so they're easier to find... he thinks?

Tsumugi: And so, from Sora-kun's rough intentions, I put together a proposal.
I'm pretty used to working with documents like that~ After going through so many of them, I think I've gotten quite a bit faster too.

Natsume: From that proposal, I planned the effects for our performance. A key part of Switch is definitely our unreplicatable, unique and magical performances, after all.

Sora: Everything is super smooth-sailing~? Sora is surprised at how fast we started moving to implement this plan!
It almost makes Sora wonder if it's really okay for things to be so simple!

Tsumugi: Fufu, it's because ES is fully equipped with the facilities and systems necessary for idol activities.
It's a breeze if all you want to do is stand on stage with no ulterior motives or anything.

Natsume: And yet everyone's so caught up in playing politics and war that those systems aren't being put to good use.
You're right, Baru-kun — you do always speak the truth. This whole time, we've needlessly complicated something that's meant to be extremely simple.

Tsumugi: Well, that's always how things go. But thanks to Sora-kun, from here on out I think we'll be able to head straight forward without ending up on any unnecessary detours.

Natsume: I wouldn't be so sure of the future just yet, though. We always have a mountain of problems on our hands. For one, the repair of this magic lantern, which is a key part of our plan, is taking quite a while.

Tsumugi: It is quite an antiquated item~ On top of that, we only have a single broken part to work with.
Frankly, if we're absolutely sure we want to use a magic lantern for the performance, I think it would be faster to just buy a new one, you know?

Sora: HaHa~? But reviving something like this and making it shine, instead of throwing it away like a piece of trash, is what Switch is all about~ ♪
