As if chasing the early summer breeze
Cutting a clean line through the vivid blue
Crossing the ridge swathed in green
Where does it seek to fly on those wings?
Through the swaying patchwork of leaves
Sunlight shines down upon us
Inviting us to enjoy our youth,
The light extends a hand our way
Let's charge forth, just as that bird does
Remaining the innocent youths that we are
There's a pounding in my chest — this summer that's begun
Is just so dazzling
The sky shines in the spring breeze, the billowing clouds
Are the emotions I cannot hold back
As if frolicking, the twittering voices sing
The moon, the sun and the stars light the summer bird's path
In the shade of a verdant summer grove, the thundering of the cicadas' chorus begins
We extend a hand towards the light we see beyond that
Let's charge forth, just as that bird does
Remaining the innocent youths that we are
Though the season may grow ever hotter
Fly onwards
The sky shines in the spring breeze, infinitely vast
Even if it seems like it may not get there
With you, there's nowhere I can't go
Let our voices join the moon, the sun and the stars... And let us sing
