[A few days after the “Fan Festival for Hockey Mask’s Comeback”]

Tsumugi: Rei-kun, are you there?
Rei: “Burning”...
Tsumugi: “Azaleas”.
Rei: Alright, you can come in.
Tsumugi: Thank you. You know, I sometimes have to stop myself from accidentally blurting this password out in irrelevant situations~ Or, well, I actually did end up saying it yesterday.
Rei: Oho, so you finally slipped up?
Tsumugi: Yes, I had a meeting here yesterday as well, and was standing at the door waiting to hear the word “burning”—
Ibara-kun was wondering why I wasn’t entering the room, so I think I might have earned his suspicion...
Rei: Kukuku, I would’ve liked to watch that unfold.
Now then. Since we’re both ready, let’s begin our meeting for Operation “Burning Azaleas”.
Tsumugi: Sure. This will be our last meeting, right? We’ve kept this up for so long, I think I’ll miss them.
Rei: Indeed. But there’s little meaning in us dragging this out, since we’re both outsiders to this matter. We’ve sown the seeds — now all that’s left is to let time take its course.
Oh, about the “Fan Festival for Hockey Mask’s Comeback” that was recently held... Hibiki-kun was positively overjoyed.
He handed me an incredible amount of tomato juice, saying “It’s a small token of appreciation ☆” Here, please take some too, Aoba-kun.
Tsumugi: Ah, thank you. With Hibiki-kun’s signature on them, these are pretty precious.
Rei: I suppose it goes to show just how delighted he was. We made the right choice in doing as you suggested, and letting Hibiki-kun in on our plans.
After all, he was all too willing to help us, saying, “I’ll have a chance to surprise Eichi as well, it’s two Amazings with one stone ♪”
Tsumugi: Hibiki-kun has good intuition, so I had a feeling he would have figured us out even if we hadn’t... Of course, we did take a pretty big risk by revealing our hand to someone on the opposing side.
But I’m glad everything went just as I expected, fufu ♪
Rei: Kukuku. Aoba-kun, you seem to be more pleased at the results than I am...?
Tsumugi: Ah, yes... Frankly, I should probably be keeping this to myself, but since we were partners-in-crime, I’ll tell you, Rei-kun.
Operation “Burning Azaleas” actually doubled as an experiment I was running, too.
Rei: An experiment, you say? Did Sakasaki-kun have a hand in it?
Tsumugi: Oh, no, Natsume-kun isn’t related to this. That’s not the kind of experiment I meant.
What I had wanted to test was “a way to achieve viral fame, even without spending money”. A small agency like NewDi doesn’t have much funds to speak of, after all.
Not even alchemy can make money appear from thin air, so we have no choice but to ideate however we can.
So I was really happy to hear your proposal, Rei-kun. Since you were the person to raise the idea, and StarPro would be handling the money involved,
Regardless of how things went, NewDi didn’t stand to lose anything.
Thanks to everyone’s efforts, I’ve gathered lots of great data. The way some events unfolded was a little outside of my expectations,
But seeing how things turned out, I’m sure I’ll be able to manage better next time... ♪
Rei: My, I’ve been done in. I had intended to toy with Tenshouin-kun, yet it would appear that you’ve long had us all dancing in the palm of your hand, Aoba-kun.
Tsumugi: Ah, but we didn’t stray from the main objective. I might be the only one who thinks this, but I do have faith that this plan was able to make everyone happy.
Well, I guess Eichi-kun would probably have a few complaints, since he was made to dance to our tune. Fufu.
... I had been wondering for the longest time. How would one effectively publicise something without spending money? Try as I might, I couldn’t think of anything—
Had it not been for your proposal, I would never have thought of this. You helped me discover a brand new method.
Thank you very much, Rei-kun.
Rei: Mm... Being thanked head-on like this is rather embarrassing...
... Well, this is you we’re talking about, Aoba-kun. I’d wager you were brooding over it alone, weren’t you?
Tsumugi: Ah, my glasses...

Rei: I can’t say I approve of how you’re letting your field of vision narrow, you know.
Oh, wow. These glasses have a pretty high degree, huh...?
Tsumugi: That would be because they’re mine... Wearing glasses that don’t match your degree will damage your eyes, Rei-kun.
Rei: Surely a little while won’t hurt. For now, you should sear this precious image of me wearing glasses into your eyes ♪
Tsumugi: You took my glasses from me, Rei-kun... All I can see is a blurry blob~
... Well, it’s true that I’ve let my field of vision narrow. I tend to want to handle things myself whenever I can, but...
I’m not all-powerful, so there’s a limit to what I can accomplish alone.
Rei: That goes for all humans, not just you — we’re all lacking in some way or another.
That’s precisely why we live while supporting one another. Like so.
How’s that? Has my assistance managed to make your vision clearer?

Tsumugi: Fufu. All you did was return my glasses.
But, ah, this is much better. Having a conversation while I can’t see clearly causes me quite a bit of unease.
Live while supporting one another... I suppose you’re right. Though we might be affiliated to different agencies, right now, we aren’t enemies.
If I continue learning all sorts of things from Rei-kun and everyone else, and make good use of that knowledge—
Surely, life will keep getting better... ♪
