Mini Talk: Preparations for the birthday event

Rei: Yaawn... Work that requires me to be up early really does affect my body. The sun's light is blinding...
Thank you for accompanying me since the early hours of the morning, little miss. You've been a great help.
Mm? You ask if I'm free after this? Of course, there's no problem. What do you need?

[There's something I want to discuss with you.]
Rei: But first we should take a short break, you say?
Yes, I'm sure you're tired as well. The sofa over there is free, so I shall allow myself to rest for a while.

[Your birthday is coming up soon, so...]
Rei: You're giving me this proposal document as an early birthday present? Hm, it appears to be a proposal of an event for my sake...

Rei: Ah, of course I don't mind.
Fufu, you've made my birthday a lively affair since the year we met. I'm looking forward to this year's celebration as well ♪

Rei: I've heard some things from Koga and Adonis-kun, so I have a rough idea of what the birthday event will be like.
It sounds like they sang together with their fans and played with animals — overall having a fun time...
I wonder, what sort of event should I hold?

[I'd like to include this segment.]
Rei: Ah, the one where us idols receive requests and questions from our fans?
I thought to send something to Ritsu too, but was chided by Kaoru-kun for the idea. Though I had given up on sending something in, I can imagine the delight I would feel if my idea had been accepted.

[There was this, too.]
Rei: Oh? So we play a game, and if the audience wins, I would have to present some sort of trick, or distribute a souvenir to everyone...?
Now that you mention it, I recall Koga fervently coming up with designs for merchandise... I guess a segment like this would allow us to give the audience a present to commemorate the event.

[What about serving juice?]
Rei: We could serve the tomato juice that I am always drinking to my fans, you say?
Just what I'd expect of you, little miss — that's a wonderful idea. Fufu, I'm sure the tomato juice will taste especially delicious when drunk together with everyone ♪

Rei: Alright, I believe we've settled on the rough outline, yes?
Adjustments will have to be made based on the results of the poll that is being done, so there isn't much else we can firm up right now.
This is my birthday event, after all. I will do anything in my power to help, so please let me know if you need anything.

Rei: Thank you all for gathering here today to celebrate my birthday. I'm truly happy to have this many people here to celebrate... ♪
Now then, let's begin. Does everyone have the drink that you received when you entered the venue?
Just for today, we've given everyone some of the tomato juice that I am so fond of. I'd like to do a toast with this to mark the beginning of today's event.
The juice comes in a can, so if you'd prefer to drink at home, then please join us with just the motion of toasting.
Is everyone ready?

Rei: I hope you'll have lots of fun today.
Rei: Now then, let's get started.

Rei: Oh, right. We gathered questions from you all in preparation for today, so I'd like to answer some.
The first question is... "What is your favourite Undead song?"
Hm... Answering this question is always difficult. I'm fond of our first song, of course, but also our newest ones... Each song has its own appeal, so I really can't choose.
Besides, every song I sing with the members of Undead is something dear to me.
Mm, next is... "I'm not good at waking up early either; how do you wake up early in the mornings for work and other matters? If you have any tips and tricks, I would love to hear them."
I don't quite have a set method for myself either. So when it is truly imperative that I be awake early, I request for someone to call to wake me up.

Rei: Every song is dear to me.
Rei: The night is when I can give my all, you see.

Now then, the request I'll be responding to today is, "I want to see your specialty, jazz dancing."
I chose this request since Undead's activities don't often offer me a chance to perform jazz dance. I've done lots of practise in preparation for today ♪

Rei: ... Hm? Was that Kaoru-kun's voice I heard? Oh, and there's Koga and Adonis-kun displayed on the projector screen.
That looks like the dorm's kitchen... Ah, so it appears they're decorating a cake together.
Adding bat-shaped chocolate and cross decorations... Oh, could this perhaps be for my...
Hm? This cake will be delivered here, they said?
Oh...! This is the cake we just saw. Fufu, so I was right; they were making a birthday cake for me.
It's such a shame to eat it, but they did especially ask me to eat it in the video. I shall have a bite.
... Mm, out of all the cakes I have eaten until now, this one is in a league of its own ♪ Thank you all for the wonderful gift... ♪
